When it proposes an action, the action is shown with its arguments and stays pending until you approve or decline it. Copilot is not always right, so check its explanation against the record it cites. It is part of the Scale plan, with 5000 credits included each month, and paid plans start with a 7-day trial.

Steps

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Operations are recorded

    Every action WPShift runs keeps its steps, commands, exit codes and output, including attempts that were retried later.

  2. Step 2

    Copilot reads the record

    It explains an alert or a failed operation from its recorded output.

  3. Step 3

    You approve or decline

    A proposed action does not run until you approve it. The request expires if nobody acts on it.

The record

Each attempt keeps its own output

A retry does not overwrite the run that failed. Copilot cites the record it answers from, and you can open that record and check. It also answers routine questions, such as which sites are on an older PHP version, which certificates renew this month and which server is closest to filling its disk.

Providers

Where a request is processed

According to the Subprocessors document, AI requests may be processed by OpenRouter and by underlying model providers such as Google, OpenAI or Anthropic. WPShift limits what is sent to what the function needs. Avoid putting sensitive personal data into a question.
